Last Minute Needs for our Sierra Leone Team
Our Sierra Leone Missions Team is headed to Africa this Tuesday, and there are a couple of ways that you can still help!
1) We need sponsors for extra luggage going to Sierra Leone. The missionaries we that support needed more items than we initially thought (they can't access these items in SL), and so we are now carrying 5 extra bags. Each of these bags is $200 to ship. If you would like to contribute in this way to these expenses, you can contact Kim Harrell at 864-993-1279, or just drop a check in one of the tithe boxes and write SL Bags in the memo line. Thanks so much!
2) We are taking cards/letters to the Walston's, who are just beginning to adapt to life in Sierra Leone. These notes can bring so much encouragement to them as they navigate challenges. If you are able, feel free to drop off a card or letter tomorrow morning and we'll make sure it gets delivered. Find Kim Harrell or drop them by the Welcome Center.
