There are so many different ministries that people within our church are involved in, one of those being Metanoia Prison Ministries. This ministry exists to make disciples of Jesus in prison, calling prisoners to a life of true freedom that is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ. One of the ways that Metanoia accomplishes this is by developing mentoring relationships with prisoners.

Tomorrow, August 25th at 7pm, there will be an information Zoom call meeting for women that might be interested in volunteering at Leath Correctional Institution. This is a women's facility here in Greenwood, SC that houses 500 women.
During this Zoom call, Stacey Hobson, a Christian woman who was formerly incarcerated at Leath, will be sharing her testimony.

 If not, we are having it again THIS Wednesday night at 6:30pm. This is the starting point for everyone joining a Community Group this year — whether you’re new to groups or returning. This meeting will cast the vision for why we gather & what to expect this upcoming year in our groups.

As New Covenant continues to grow, and Community Groups approach their start, we are very much in need of people willing to step up and lead a group. We would love to see several more groups birthed before we launch them in September. Will you consider this? 

We aren't looking for extroverts or super Christians, but for those that are willing to simply facilitate the group time and create a welcoming environment where people can show up together. You do need to be a member of New Covenant (or have a willingness to join us in membership) in order to lead a group.
